    Watch your child's imagination grow! This class engages children with the bases of pre-ballet terminology thought in a creative manner and beginning tap skills that allows dancers to grow and explore through ballet and movement. See your dancer flourish in motor skills, balance, and grace as they dance through creativity, rhythmic movement, imaginative stories, and simple dances which opens the door to expressiveness and imagination. Disc Golf is a low impact sport that can be enjoyed regardless of your age or physical ability.   • Elementary Dance

    Ages pre-school - 1st Grade: Watch your child’s imagination grow as they explore dance through creative movement and imaginative stories. Students will gain the basics through rhythmic movement warm ups, constructive activities, creative play with props, and gross motor development through song and dance. Tap dancing rhythmic basics are taught as well. Elementary Levels: Students will explore the fundamentals of classical ballet basics and Tap technique. Combo class grades 4-6 will also introduce dancers to jazz dance and character jazz.

    Hikehoppers Park Play Day Camp (Ages 4-12)

    Parents, enjoy a FULL day to yourselves while your child has fun in the great outdoors! Our licensed staff will facilitate learning experiences using the play-based learning approach. Park Play camps are committed to offering the balance of self-directed and self-driven learning through inquiry, play, and freedoms to design & create. Campers can expect to engage in healthy risk-taking, “soft”/”essential”/”life” skills (i.e. the interpersonal attributes of communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creation).
  • Jazz

    Technique progression in various styles, with the focus on execution of turns, leaps, tricks, precision kick, and combinations for center and across floor skills, along with a routine. Student should wear tan leather split sole jazz shoe, black bicker or leggings, black dance tank top or leotard, and tan tights. Hair should be secured back and no jewelry in class. Water bottles are encouraged. If you are needing shoes please email CPA before classes start. A new size will be ordered for you to try on once classes start. Leave your child’s name, class registered under, and style of shoe needed, along with their current shoe size and old dance shoe size from last season if available.   • Jazz and Tap Combo

    Students will grow in technique progressions of various styles, execution of leaps and turns, and combinations for center and across floor skills. Staged show performances held on April 29. A costume Deposit of $50 is due at your first class if not previously paid last fall. Shoe fitting: Student fitting is available during your child’s class time the first and second week of class. Director/Instructor has a degree in dance education and a passion for sharing the art of dance. CPA is a place where a dancer can grow with confidence through their experience in the classroom and on the stage. It is where studio dance brings out the best dancer one can be.
  • Swift Kids Running Club

    Boys and Girls grades 2-6. Partake in fun fitness activities and running. We will discuss healthy habits and fitness ideas. All fitness levels encourages! Children will meet outside Cold Spring Elementary.
  • Youth Wrestling

    Join the ROCORI Wrestling program for the first session that will teach your child the fundamentals of wrestling. Learn about what it takes to be a competitive wrestler while having fun! Please send kids in comfortable attire, wrestling shoes or head gear is not required.
