Youth Programming / Youth Enrichment -
Fall 2026

In this fast-paced workshop, students design and create their own custom 3D-printed nameplate for their desk or bedroom door. Kids learn the basics of 3D modeling by combining 3D letters, baseplates, and cool side anchors.

  • Hour 1: See a 3D printer running live. Learn how flat lines build solid parts.
  • Hour 2: Open kid-friendly 3D software. Build a flat baseplate and type out names.

Day 2: Connect and Print (2 Hours)

  • Hour 2: Check designs for floating pieces. Send the final files to the printer queue.
