Kid Care is a childcare program for children participating in the Little Spartans Preschool program.
Little Spartans Preschool serves children ages 3, 4, and 5 years old in a developmentally appropriate learning environment. We invite all families, regardless of income, to participate in our school readiness programs.
We offer care for school-aged children ranging from 5-12 year olds.
THESE LESSONS ARE EXCLUSIVELY FOR SPARTAN SPOT STUDENTS IN SUMMER PROGRAMMING.
These lessons will be offered in partnership with Albany/Avon Community Education.
We will be busing Spartan Spot students to and from lessons. All students will depart CSE around 12:30pm for their lessons. Lessons will be at 1pm and 2pm. The 1pm group will go first while the 2pm group goes to the park. Then the 2pm group will go while the 1pm group goes to the park. Students will return to CSE around 3:30pm. All swim lesson students will be gone from 12:30-3:30pm despite their lesson time.
Participants become comfortable in the water learning basic skills. Safety topics include pool rules, recognizing lifeguard, safe water entry, being able to recall name and phone number, helping yourself in an emergency and proper use of life jacket.
