Kid Care is a childcare program for children participating in the Little Spartans Preschool program.
Little Spartans Preschool serves children ages 3, 4, and 5 years old in a developmentally appropriate learning environment. We invite all families, regardless of income, to participate in our school readiness programs.
We offer care for school-aged children ranging from 5-12 year olds.
Part one of this class gives students an understanding of the fundamental aspects of running a successful business. Participants will gain valuable insights into key areas such as cost management, taxes, labor expenses, procurement of supplies, customer service, and profit utilization. We will customize the conversation to fit all ages and split this into two 1 hour sessions. Parents are welcome to stay the for classes.
Part two of this class is selling their product to an audience of over 300 people at a Rock the River Community Concert at Alexander Park. Note: This class is not to make products but for youth who already have a product they would like to sell. No food or beverage items can be sold at Rock the River. If you are unable to attend the classroom portion you can still register and participate in selling at Rock the River on June 19th.
