Imagine being small enough to live on a button or use a leaf as an umbrella.  Join Stearns County 4-H as we create tiny worlds that are sure to delight and amaze! All campers are asked to wear sunscreen and bring a bag lunch for the noon meal and a water bottle. A snack will be provided.     Who Stole the Cookies: A Crime Scene Investigation Day Camp! Someone has stolen the cookies from the potluck and we need your help to figure out who it was! Join Stearns County 4-H as we dig into crime scene investigation techniques and science experiments to figure out who the thief is. All campers are asked to wear sunscreen and bring a bag lunch for the noon meal and a water bottle. A snack will be provided.     EVERY BODY is designed to move regardless of age, size or ability – and we want to empower you to LOVE the body you’re in through positive music + movement. It’s time for YOU to be part of something where you’ll feel connection – not comparison! It’s time for YOU to get moving!! Exercising together is more fun for all ages. No special equipment or gear is required – just comfy clothing, tennis shoes, a big smile and water! Monday and Wednesday classes are held at Richmond Elementary from 6-7:15pm Saturday classes are held at the District Education Facility from 7:30am-8:30am
  • Beer & Blooms

    Join us for a tour of great gardens in the Cold Spring area! Featured will be anything from perennial gardens to shoreline restoration. Tour stops include both public and private property. We will meet at the school’s DEF Building parking lot, caravan from location to location, and end our tour at Third Street Brew house. There, we will have a presentation on perennial planting. Participants will receive handouts, brochures, and a chance to win prizes! Appetizers are included, and a cash bar will be available!

  • Bowe Tennis Academy

    Bowe Tennis Academy is committed to helping you develop your championship game. Serving a five-state area, Bowe Tennis Academy provides intense training with Central Minnesota's finest coaches, who draw on the resources of the USPTA and the USPTR to develop and evaluate our program.This camp is for boys and girls. JACK BOWE has been teaching and coaching tennis in St. Cloud for over 35 years. Jack has served as the Head Coach for SCSU and the College of St. Benedict and is currently coaching the men's team at St. John's University. In 2019, Jack was named MIAC coach of the year! He got the same award previously in 1993 and 2003. Jack founded the Bowe Tennis Academy in 1986 and has been successfully training junior players ever since. A USPTA pro himself, Bowe directs a staff this year including four other certified pros, area high school coaches and top level college players. With this kind of high quality staffing, the Bowe Tennis Academy has produced 91 state tournament level players in the past four years.

    Step up to the plate! This cmap is the perfect summer activity for boys and girls who are interested in learning the fundamentals of baseball/softball in a fun and supportive environment. This camp is designed as a introduction to the game of T-Ball, focusing on developing basic skills such as hitting, fielding, and base running while also emphasizing teamwork and sportsmanship. This program is ideal for students in Preschool or entering Kindergarten this upcoming school year. Parents are encouraged to participate with their children if needed.
  • C.P.A. Dance Presents "Mary Poppins Camp"

    Come and take a stroll down Cherry Tree Lane with Mary Poppins and her mysterious carpet bag. We’ll dance our way through the park and up to the chimney tops, create splendid works of art on the sidewalks, and let our imaginations soar through the magical adventures like only Mary Poppins can take you on. It’s a weeklong camp filled with dance, art and adventure with our favorite nanny. There will be a short performance the last day of camp. Attire: Dancewear with ballet shoes, or tank tops, shorts, and socks would be sufficient. Don’t forget a water bottle!

    All our lessons use the “Progressive Tennis” system of modified courts and balls designed for the age and/or skill level of the players. Scale appropriate learning is used by many other sports (e.g. T-Ball, Mini-soccer, etc.). Tennis is learned faster and easier through this system. Green Level I - Ages 10+ Players learn to serve, rally, score, and play at net in singles and doubles on a regulation sized court with a low-compression transition ball. Lessons take players through a progression of skill building activities that speed learning. Green Level II - Ages 10+ This follow-up to Green level 1.0 also uses a low-compression transition ball. Players learn to rally with improved direction and height control, serve with better power and control, return serves, and approach and play net with volleys and overheads. Please bring your own athletic shoes, water bottle and Tennis racket.

    All our lessons use the “Progressive Tennis” system of modified courts and balls designed for the age and/or skill level of the players. Scale appropriate learning is used by many other sports (e.g. T-Ball, Mini-soccer, etc.). Tennis is learned faster and easier through this system. Orange Level I - Ages 8+ Orange tennis is played on a ¾ size court with a low-compression ball. Players learn how to serve, rally, score and play at the net. “I am a Good Sport” behaviors are reinforced. Orange Level II - Ages 8+ This follow-up to Orange Level 1 is on a ¾ size court with a low-compression ball. Players learn to maintain a rally when receiving more challenging shots, serve with improved placement, approach the net, and place volleys. “I am a Good Sport” behaviors are reinforced. Please bring your own athletic shoes, water bottle and Tennis racket.

Red Level I - Ages 6+ This program introduces the foundational skills of tennis with an oversized low-compression ball on a smaller court. Players learn basic rally, serve and net play skills along with activities that build tennis specific coordination. Rules of play and “I am a Good Sport” behaviors are also introduced. Red Level II - Ages 6+ This follow-up to Red Level 1 further refines the rally, serve, and net play skills. Players learn to compete on a Red Court with oversized low-compression balls. “I am a Good Sport” behaviors are reinforced as well. Please bring your own athletic shoes, water bottle and Tennis racket.
  • Children's Theatre Camp!

    If you love theatre and have ever wanted to try acting, join us Under the Sea this summer for an exciting play- in-a-week production of Disney's The Little Mermaid, Jr! Students in grades 2-8 will learn theatre skills while rehearsing for a real show, performed at the end of the week. The immersive camp experience includes auditions, acting, dancing, rehearsals, costuming, and more. All students will be cast in a unique role with speaking parts and the chance to perform a song and dance number at the final performance. This co-production with Great Northern Theatre Company is co-sponsored by the Central MN Arts Board.

    Bring a partner for a fun night out! Collaborate to cook and share a 5 course meal, then take home all the recipes. Come, Cook, and enjoy! We are unable to accommodate food sensitivities/allergies in this course. FRENCH MEAL: French Onion Soup, Ratatouille, poulet a la moutarde, and cassoulet alongside fresh sourdough bred and gateaux a yaourt for dessert with berries and cream. INDIAN MEAL: Dal, Butter Tofu, Tandoori Chicken, Aloo Gobi with rice, alongside naan, with kheer for dessert.

    Come and learn how Cotton Candy is made with and without a machine. In this class we will be learning how Cotton Candy is made by heating and spinning flavored sugar and Jolly Ranchers. We will also be playing games for fun prizes like a carnival and every child will go home with Cotton Candy and Prizes. Come and have some fun with your friends and enjoy the carnival.
